The word "mandala" is from the Indian Sanskrit language meaning circle. By focusing on the repetitive patterns of the mandala it is suggested that you might feel a sense of wholeness and well-being. The mandala appears to us in all aspects of life; the Earth, the Sun, the Moon as well as the circles in our lives of family, friends and communities. The act of coloring utilizes both hemispheres of the brain and is a great way to practice mindfulness.
Put the two together and you have a great tool to deal with stress, anxiety and overwhelm. Why not give it a try?
